Danie is a Mechanical Engineer with over a decade of experience in various industries, including hydro asset overhauls and rehabilitations.

His background includes project support, engineering oversight and team leadership. Having worked for asset owners, he understands effective asset management, combining technical expertise with a pragmatic approach to delivering projects in renewable energy.

General Manager | Senior Project, Integration & Commissioning Manager (PMP)

Daniel has over 15 years in the energy sector, spanning operations, energy trading, project delivery, commissioning management and commercial development.

He specialises in complex generation and energy infrastructure projects, including grid-scale battery storage, hydropower, thermal generation, plant upgrades and major electrical infrastructure.

Daniel combines technical, operational and commercial capability to lead multidisciplinary teams, manage interfaces across engineering, construction, operations, contractors and equipment suppliers, and deliver projects safely through construction, energisation, commissioning and into operation.

Principal Electrical Engineer

David is a Chartered Professional Electrical Engineer with over 35 years of experience in the electricity industry.

Throughout his career, he has worked in various roles for asset owners, engineering consultancy and contracting organisations. A key skill David has, is being able to apply his practical operations and maintenance knowledge to conceptual and detailed designs to ensure ease of construction and to minimise operational impact.

Chartered Hydro Mechanical Engineer -

Based in Cambridge, Emma is a proactive chartered mechanical engineer with over 20 years of experience, including 10 specializing in hydropower. She excels both independently and within multidisciplinary teams. Her experience includes project engineering and detailed design for various machine overhauls, refurbishments and asset maintenance and improvements.

With a background including aerospace, and defence, Emma leverages cross-industry best practices to drive innovative solutions in hydropower. Her strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities enable her to unite diverse teams to achieve the best outcomes for the project.

Chartered Hydro Mechanical Engineer
BEng (hons), CPEng, CMEngNZ, IntPE(NZ)

Matt is a Chartered Professional Engineer specialising in mechanical design within the field of Hydro Power Generation. With a strong focus on hydromechanical equipment Matt’s experience ranges from detailed gate design through to site-based engineering and Dam Safety Compliance Testing. Design tools include 3D modelling with FEA capability, and experience managing multi-discipline teams to achieve cohesive and complete project solutions.  

With experience in asset management, design consultancy and refurbishment engineering, Matt has a unique insight into the requirements of plant operators, bringing with him the tools to innovatively address the bespoke requirements of hydro plant.

Test Engineer
NDE - Electrotechnology

Michael is an established Test Engineer specialising in Power Systems. With more than 15 years hydropower generation experience, Michael provides a focused service both on and offsite.

Starting his career as an Electrician, Michael soon gained recognised Electrical Qualifications in support of his fast-progressing professional career. Complimenting his practical foundation, Michael offers Electrical Design and Project Support. Commissioning Services are a big part of what we do, and Michael is a recognised contributor acting as Test Technician and Commissioning Planner/Coordinator alike.

Operations Manager | Project Manager -

With a comprehensive background in heavy engineering, Nick seamlessly combines a practical and professional approach to project delivery throughout the Hydropower and Renewable Energy Industry. Covering both NZ and Australia.

Nick is a versatile member of the team, coordinating and delivering international projects.

Project Manager -

Shane has 28 years of experience in the hydropower sector, with a background in heavy engineering workshop and site management. His project experience includes excitation, governor, control systems, GSUT transformer installation, and hydro generator refurbishments.

He brings practical insight to complex projects, ensuring effective solutions and reliable project outcomes in renewable energy.

Senior Design Engineer

Wayne is a Senior Electrical Engineer with over 31 years of electricity industry experience.

Throughout his career, he has worked in various roles for asset owners, engineering consultancy and contracting organisations. A key skill of Wayne’s is his ability to use practical experience with conceptual design skills to get the best outcome for the client regarding design, installation through to commissioning.
